Know Your Desired Length
It is important to be realistic about the length you want. To achieve the best results, start with your bio hair current length and then figure out how long you want or can go from there. If your hair is short (above the shoulder), you want to make sure you integrate your length properly so don't go too long... especially if you don't have layers. The blunt cut will show up as a "ledge". We offer lengths that range from 20-24” (inches) as long as you have enough hair to conceal the top weft, you can wear any length extensions that you desire. If your hair is shorter, you may need more pieces than what is offered.
Understand the Different Methods and What Will Suit You
Each clip-in hair extensions set comes in different piece quantities, bases, and lengths. Assess your hair and the desired volume you'd like to achieve with hair extensions. Some people may be comfortable wearing 4 clip-ins and some may be more comfortable wearing 8-10 clip-ins at a time. Our systems can range from 1 - 10 pieces. The shorter the hair the more pieces you’ll need for length and the longer the hair the less pieces you’ll need for volume. The more pieces offered in a single set the less amount of hair offered on each weft. The fewer amounts of pieces offered in a single set, the more hair you will have on each weft. So don’t be alarmed when you find that an 8pc set costs more than a 10 pc system, you now know it is because there is more hair in the 8 piece set. It's all about personal preference and extending your look.
Evaluate How Much Time you Have for Your Hair
Heat-friendly synthetic or human hair... that is the question. Depending on how much time you would like to spend styling, you may prefer synthetic over human hair. Heat-friendly synthetic rarely needs styled other than to integrate your hair with your extensions. However, this fiber type does not last as long and can become messy very quickly. Human hair is very durable, long lasting, and worth the investment.
